Privacy Policy

The short version: your health and workout data stays on your iPhone and Apple Watch. Mo Mo Move has no accounts, no ads, and no trackers. The only thing that ever leaves your device is the minimum needed for the AI coaching features — and never your raw heart-rate, GPS, or health records.

What stays on your device

All Apple Health data. Workouts, heart rate, routes, cadence, power, and every derived metric (training load, race predictions, running form) are read from and stored in Apple Health and the app's local database on your device. We run no server that stores health data.
Your profile. Name, age, sex, weight, height, and max heart rate are stored locally on your device only.
Medical notes you optionally add are stored in your device's encrypted Keychain.

What is sent, and when

Only the AI coaching features make network requests, and only when they run — building your weekly plan revision, generating a workout from your description or a screenshot, or writing a coach note. Those requests go to our server (api.momomove.app, hosted on Cloudflare) and are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. They contain:

Your goal, activity level, and coaching-style labels (for example "Run a 5K", "Regular runner").
Plan settings: weeks, run days, target distance or date.
A short summary of recent training (counts and averages — never individual workout records).
For coach notes: a compact summary of one planned or completed run — distances, times, paces, and derived effort descriptors (heart-rate zones and drift percentage). Raw heart-rate values (bpm) and GPS locations are never sent.
If you use screenshot import: the image you chose to import.
Anonymous request authentication (Apple App Attest) — a cryptographic proof that the request comes from a genuine copy of the app. It identifies an app installation, not you.
If you subscribe: your Apple-signed subscription receipt, used solely to verify your membership. It contains no name or payment details.

Our server keeps no copy of the content of these requests. It stores only anonymous installation keys and per-day request counts (kept per installation and per subscription — both anonymous identifiers) that are deleted after 35 days. Anthropic processes each request to generate the response and does not train its models on your data.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Manage or cancel any time in your device's Settings.

Who processes data

Apple — HealthKit, App Attest, and in-app purchases, under your existing Apple agreements.
Cloudflare — hosts our API and this website.
Anthropic — processes AI requests to generate plans, workouts, and coach notes.

We do not sell data, share it with advertisers, or use third-party analytics.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and your local data goes with it. Health data written to Apple Health remains yours, in Apple Health, under your control. There is no server-side account to delete.

Children

Mo Mo Move is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region).

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with an updated date.
